Quality Assurance of Research (QAR) – better conditions for research quality
During ENQA’s General Assembly from October 23-25 in Malta, the preliminary results of the Quality Assurance of Research (QAR) project will be presented. The results, which will be published in January 2025, aim to increase knowledge about how quality assurance agencies in Europe incorporate research quality assurance into their mandates.
The Quality Assurance of Research (QAR) project is a working group under The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). It was initiated by the French quality assurance agency Hcéres and the Swedish Higher Education Authority, which also co-lead the project. The purpose of the project is to contribute to the knowledge of how quality assurance agencies in Europe include research quality assurance in their missions.
The working group consists of 16 participating quality assurance agencies from 15 European countries. The project is important because research quality assurance can lead to better conditions for research quality.
